For the past twenty years Michel has been instrumental in establishing and running various Capital Markets businesses both in Asia and Europe.

Currently a Principal and MD in an advisory boutique based in Hong-Kong linked to two financiers (one Family Office and a corporate).

Previously, until May 2009 in charge of the capital markets businesses and subsidiaries in Asia of Natixis, the third largest French banking group. Additional to the overall management of the businesses, also directly in charge of the structuring teams for the various asset classes ( fixed income and FX and their derivatives, equities and commodities and their derivatives) for both asset / investor products as well as for the liabilities side for corporate mainly.

Has also developed a Strategic Solutions business for both corporate and institutional to cover their hedging and risk management needs as well as their funding needs.

Also appointed a board member for various subsidiaries and entities of the bank in the region.

From 2001 to 2004, Deputy head of the market and investment banking activities of the bank in London covering all asset classes.

Has also developed a global macro hedge fund business on the books of the bank as well as a real estate financing business that has engineered flagship deals from corporate deleveraging on their real estate assets.

He has spent a total of 23 years in Asia, 12 of which in Japan, where he graduated from Sophia University.
